MG Exia = LED Mods 2

Hi guys! Here's another project I'm into currently. I guess you can say I'm into LED mods nowadays coz they really add life to the kit ( and bragging rights to friends who drop by th house. Hehehe...  )

With this project, I used a Surface Mount LED - used in cell phones primarily. This maybe small but gives a very bright light perfect for this project.

Size Comparison:


Surface mount LED, 3mm LED, regular size LED


So here's what I did:
1) Solder wires on both ends of the LED.
2) Fix LED at the back of the eyes using super glue.
3) Drill two holes at the body for the wires. Like this:

NICE!!!

Now to light up the chest.Til next time...
